Airguesser is an airport-guessing quiz game available as an Android application
and at airguesser.net. This policy describes
what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. Contact:

What we collect
- Email address — used to sign you in (we email you a one-time
code; there is no password) and as your account identifier.
- Pseudo (display name) — chosen by you, shown on the public
leaderboard.
- Gameplay data — your answers, scores and progress, used to
run the game and the leaderboard.
That's all. We do not collect your name, contacts, precise location, advertising
identifiers or device identifiers.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We never sell or share your data for commercial purposes.
Third-party services
- Resend (resend.com) — delivers our sign-in code emails. It
processes your email address for that sole purpose.
- Esri / ArcGIS — the satellite map tiles shown in the game are
loaded directly from Esri's servers, which therefore see your IP address, as
with any content delivery network.
- Hosting — our server runs on DigitalOcean; encrypted database
backups are stored on Amazon Web Services (EU region, Paris).
Data retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Database backups are
retained for up to 6 months, after which they are automatically deleted.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Residual copies in backups are purged
automatically within 6 months at the latest.
Security
All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in codes
expire after a short time and can only be used once.
Children
Airguesser is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
data from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU), you may have rights of
access, rectification, erasure and portability over your personal data. Most of
these are available directly in the app (edit your pseudo, delete your account);
for anything else, email us at

Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change and
significant changes will be announced in the app.
